THE CONCEPT_
A lamp that listens, glows, and plays - all in one sculptural form.
Lumina reimagines the bedside lamp as a fully intelligent audio-visual object. The lightbulb-shaped display surfaces your currently playing track, album art, and playback controls, while the warm wood grain body doubles as a 360° speaker enclosure. Integrated Qi wireless charging sits beneath the base.
FEATURES_
Built-in Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa integration for hands-free control. The lightbulb head contains an embedded micro-display showing song metadata, artist, and album art in real time via Bluetooth. Ambient LED indicators signal pairing and playback state through the wood composite ring.
Physical volume and playback controls are recessed into the wood body, with soft-touch elastomer buttons for satisfying tactile feedback. The base houses a wireless charging pad for overnight device charging.

THE CONCEPT_
Portable warmth that folds flat and goes anywhere.
WARM is a compact food warming device engineered around a Z-fold mechanism that collapses the unit to a pocket-friendly slab. Dark matte polymer casing, red accent buttons, and a seven-segment digital display give it a purposeful, tool-like presence.
THE CHALLENGE_
The core design challenge was packaging active heating elements, a Li-ion cell, and a digital control interface into a form factor that folds thin enough for a jacket pocket. The Z-fold hinge needed to withstand thermal cycling while maintaining a positive latching feel.
Temperature precision was critical - the front-panel display communicates current temp in °F alongside a countdown timer, with red LED indicator lights confirming active warming state.

THE CONCEPT_
A printer that doesn't look like a printer.
A full reimagining of HP's compact desktop printer line. The concept challenges the category's utilitarian aesthetic with precision-machined geometry, a dark charcoal shell, and a touchscreen control panel that sits flush with the top surface. No visible clutter - just a clean, faceted slab.
THE APPROACH_
Ideation began with a sketching phase exploring radically different form archetypes - from monolithic wedge forms to stacked geometric planes. The final direction converged on a faceted surface language that reads as premium from every angle, with geometric chamfered edges catching light dramatically.
The touchscreen interface integrates HP's digital ecosystem directly into the hardware, with a compact paper tray hidden in the front face and ventilation geometry sculpted into the rear base.
